Telecommunications and Enterprise Solutions

Telecommunication, science and practice of transmitting information by electromagnetic means. Modern telecommunication centers on the problems involved in transmitting large volumes of information over long distances without damaging loss due to noise and interference. The basic components of a modern digital telecommunications system must be capable of transmitting voice, data, radio, and television signals.

Enterprise solutions are designed to integrate multiple facets of a company’s business through the interchange of information from various business process areas and related databases. These solutions enable companies to retrieve and disseminate mission-critical data throughout the organization, providing managers with real-time operating information.

High-speed Internet Access – on/off premises Internet-2, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192

“High-speed Internet” is a generic term used for Internet service that is faster than the average. One way to determine if a connection is high-speed is to compare it to the speed of dial-up service. If a connection operates faster than dial-up, it is often defined as “high-speed.”

An optical carrier is the standard unit of measure for the rate of transmission bandwidth for data being carried by Synchronous Optical Networking (SONET) fiber-optic networks.

Optical carrier transmission rate signifies the speed of a fiber-optic network and is abbreviated as OCx, where x is a variable representing a multiplier whose base rate is 51.84 Mbps. Therefore, an OC-1-rated fiber network would have a transmission rate of 51.84 Mbps, while an OC-3-rated network would have a speed of 155.52 Mbps.

K-12, Higher-Ed, Campus BYOD and Cloud Services - Wireless, Mobility, Online Training

The growing popularity of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies have traditionalist CIOs and security professionals worried, but for organizations that have embraced software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, BYOD can actually make your data more secure. The reason is simple: BYOD reduces the likelihood of user error.

Access control systems are the electronic systems that are designed to control through a network and they should have an access to a network. Access Control System recognizes authenticates and authorizes entry of a person to enter into the premise thereby giving complete protection ensuring security with the system.

EMS – Emergency medical services. This term refers to the medical professionals who respond to 911 calls and treat and transport people in crisis health situations.

New Construction - Infrastructure Build-Out, Cabling and Data Center Operations

Most businesses depend on data centers for their operations. Whether your business outsources data storage and processing or built a data center or centers from the ground up, the data management infrastructure inside the building is every bit as important as integrated building systems, such as power, cooling, and fire protection. Racking, cabling, cable management, and connectors all factor into a data center’s optimal operation.

Data center operations comprise the systems and workflows within a data center that keep the data center running. Data center operations include installing and maintaining network resources, ensuring data center security and monitoring systems that take care of power and cooling.
